RAMADAAN
The Congress is taking place in the month of Ramadaan and the South African National Halaal Authority (SANHA) has made provision for Muslims who are desirous of participating in the Ifthar (Breaking of the daily fast ) and Taraweeh (night prayer).
To enable SANHA to arrange the logistics of this service efficiently, please register your interest on this webpage and fill out the downloadable form and return it to SANHA before 18 August 2010.

WARMTH
The 15th IUFoST World Congress will endeavour to raise money for WARMTH - WAR against Malnutrition, Tuberculosis and Hunger. WARMTH is a community-based organisation whose Mission is to "Enhance communities' potential to access and create meaningful resources in a dignified way, to meet and sustain their health and nutritional needs through education and empowerment"
Their Aims are:
- To relieve hunger and malnutrition by providing nutritious, low cost food to all those in need.
- To promote nutrition and health education.
- To improve community health.
- To stimulate community development.
- To preserve self-respect and human dignity.
During the Congress delegates will be urged to make a contribution towards this charity as a Congress pledge towards fighting the WAR against Malnutrition, Tuberculosis and Hunger as we dicsuss Food Security.
Our aim is to raise enough money to run a WARMTH kitchen for a year!
