Oral Presentation Guidelines

Speakers should bring their 'graphics'/visual material to the Cape Town Convention Centre (CTICC) on a memory stick / flash drive. Please ensure that your presentation is in Microsoft Office PowerPoint.

Presenters are to report to the Speaker Preparation Centre (Meeting Room 1.53) at the CTICC where a technician will assist the presenter in uploading his/her presentation onto the server. It is advised that this be done at least 24 hours prior to the presentation (or as soon as possible on Sunday - up to 18.00 - or early on Monday, for those who will be speaking on Monday). Presenters can still access their presentations once they have been uploaded. The presentations will then be indexed by date, name and meeting room and will be available on the desktop in the meeting room where the presentation will take place.

All oral presentations include a 5 minute questions and answers allocation. For example:
30 minutes = 25 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers
25 minutes = 20 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers
20 minutes = 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers
